Toolbox Teenage Years (12 to 18 years)

Just when we all think we’re getting the hang of this parenting thing, our children become teenagers and we find ourselves facing a whole set of new challenges! Rapidly changing technology, the ups and downs of teenage moods and ever-present in the back of our minds… Puberty! 

Over six weeks, we’ll cover all of this and more with plenty of opportunities for discussion and questions. We’re sure you’ll come out the other end feeling confident and ready to tackle the teenage years with your young people.

Thanks to Toi Foundation who have heavily subsidised the cost of this course, we are able to bring this 6 week programme to our Taranaki parenting community. The cost to you is only $60 to cover the workbook which goes straight to Parenting Place to keep doing the great mahi they do.

Topics covered will be:

• The importance of love and connection

• Different parenting styles

• Understanding the teenage brain and risk-taking

• Discipline and boundaries

Drinks and nibbles provided.

WHEN:

Monday’s 7pm – 9pm, starting 21st July 2025 – For 6 consecutive weeks.

COST:

$60 per person (This cost goes straight to Parenting Place to cover the workbook and continue the incredible work they do).
