Te Māmā Tuesdays 9:30-11am

In Term 4 all Te Mama offerings will be held at St Chads Hall, 12 Omata Road

Flourish Taranaki is proud to offer Te Māmā Wellbeing Tuesday sessions in term 4 2024, with a massive thanks to the Tindall Foundation to make this programme happen for our parenting community.

These will be 1.5 hour sessions over 8 weeks in term 4, where you can access free wellbeing classes, fitness sessions and fun experiences from leading local providers in the wellbeing space.

Time:

  • 9.00am  – arrive and settle in, grab a cuppa, deliver any children into the childminding Awhi space allowing as much time as they need (more info below).
  • 9.30 – 10.30am Session with each service provider
  • 10.45 – 11.00am Time to reintegrate, have a cuppa and collect your child

These sessions are available due to generous funding support from the Tindall Foundation.

Awhi childminding has some payment options:

Flourish provides an option for onsite childminding in the Awhi space (at the other end of the room – children can come and go to their parents should they need them). 

  • Option 1– Pay as you go – $15 per session (an additional $5 per child from the same whānau). 
  • Option 2 –  Pay up-front in advance. We invite you to pay what you can currently afford at the beginning of the term. The expectation is that you will pay on a sliding scale from $60 to $240 for one child or $80 to $320 for two children

You are of course also welcome to continue paying online, Flourish Taranaki Community Trust 15-3945-0469821-00 Ref: Name, Code: Childminding/Awhi, and Date please, or you can pay with Cash on the day.❤️

We know you will give what you can, when you can.

If it is the first time for you and your child/ren to access care at Awhi, it is advisable to come in earlier before the Te Māmā session, to meet and connect. There is an information collection form to fill in for your precious child before utilising our service.

At Awhi, we follow the needs of you and your child. Please be open to your child still requiring your presence, especially for the first few, (or many) experiences with us. At Awhi we do our best to follow the requests of your whānau.

Bookings will always be on a weekly basis. Confirmation is given in order of the booking. We advise booking as early as you can, so as to not miss out as there are limited spaces. Click on the green button above to book now.

When:

Sessions start Tuesday the 22nd October 2024 –  9:00am-11:00am for 8 weeks. Come along to as many as you’d like. No need to book for the session unless you are wanting to use the Awhi/Childminding option. Please read the Awhi childminding info here.
