Awhi childminding has some payment options:

Flourish provides an option for onsite childminding in the Awhi space (at the other end of the room – children can come and go to their parents should they need them).

  • Option 1– Pay as you go – $15 per session (an additional $5 per child from the same whānau).
  • Option 2 –  Pay it forward – We invite you to pay what you can currently afford at the beginning of the term. We ask for an exchange of around $70 – $100, depending on what you can afford, to cover your awhi contribution as many times as you are able to join us during the term (booking still required!).

Payment Options

A special ‘Givealittle’ page has been created JUST FOR AWHI, within our Flourish page. Donating through this site, means you will receive a tax receipt issued in the name of givealittle, allowing you to claim some of your donation back at tax time. Click here for this option:

You are of course also welcome to continue paying online, Flourish Taranaki Community Trust 15-3945-0469821-00 Ref: Name, Code: Childminding/Awhi, and Date please, or you can pay with Cash on the day.❤️

We know you will give what you can, when you can.

If it is the first time for you and your child/ren to access care at Awhi, it is advisable to come in earlier before the Te Māmā session, to meet and connect. There is an information collection form to fill in for your precious child before utilising our service.

At Awhi, we follow the needs of you and your child. Please be open to your child still requiring your presence, especially for the first few, (or many) experiences with us. At Awhi we do our best to follow the requests of your whānau.

Bookings will always be on a weekly basis. Confirmation is given in order of the booking. We advise booking as early as you can, so as to not miss out as there are limited spaces. Click on the green button above to book now.

These sessions are available due to generous funding support from the Tindall Foundation.
