Circle of Security

Circle of Security is a programme for parents and caregivers of tamariki aged 6 months and up, built around one simple but powerful idea – that a secure attachment between a child and their caregiver changes everything.

When children feel safe, they explore more confidently, handle big emotions better, form healthier relationships, and arrive at school ready to learn. This course helps you understand how your own upbringing shapes the way you parent today, and how to respond to your child’s emotional needs in a way that builds that secure foundation.
